Our therapy staff offers a broad range of intensive therapeutic services designed to maximize the functional capabilities of our patients in the acute care setting. Our goal is to enable them to reach their highest level of independence as quickly as possible. Our highly advanced programs, incorporate the expertise of our distinguished team of professionals.

Evaluates patients in the acute care medical setting for Speech-Language Pathology services and provides therapeutic intervention according to professional and departmental standards. Assesses the appropriateness and effectiveness of services provided based on the needs of the individual patient and completes documentation according to the standards set by the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department.

Essential Job Duties:

Performs Speech-Language Pathology evaluations and treatments involving varied diagnoses and units using a variety of appropriate treatment techniques and completes documentation according to established departmental policies and procedures.Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives engaging in excellent customer service practices including but not limited to following ICARE principles. Consults with and serves as a resource for physicians, nursing staff, and other clinicians to increase knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology scope of practice to identify patients who would benefit from Speech-Language Pathology services.Educational/Experience Requirements:

The minimum level of education and experience for this position includes:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Previous experience required; acute care experience preferred.Benefits:
