Job Details

We are seeking an Audio-Visual Systems Project Manager to join our Denver CO Office. The AV Systems Project Manager will oversee and manage low voltage technology projects, including security systems, telecommunications, data networks, and audio/visual systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects from concept to completion, strong technical knowledge of low voltage systems, and excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years' experience consulting, designing, and managing technology systems projects as a Project Manager/Sr Engineer with an Architecture/Engineering Consulting Firm
  • RCDD Certification and/or PMP Certification Preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Preferred
  • Knowledge of various technology design and implementation
  • Thorough knowledge of telecommunications cabling and infrastructure design and implementation; Knowledge of industry standards including BICSI, IEEE and TIA/EIA
  • A working understanding of the standard project delivery models.
  • Must be proactive and have excellent time management skills and be capable of working independently - Conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and team-player attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines, interface effectively with management, handle multiple requests with an eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality
  • Applied knowledge of digital media delivery technologies, AV systems, and security systems
  • Applied knowledge of digital media delivery technologies, AV systems, security systems, ride surveillance, and intrusion/television distribution
  • Previous experience working in an Architecture/Engineering consulting firm.

DUTIES:

  • Manage low voltage technology projects from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress against them
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure that projects meet their requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate them as necessary
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, and processing invoices
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients, and ensure that project designs meet industry standards and best practices
  • Manage vendor relationships, including selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that vendors deliver products and services on time and within budget
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that projects are installed correctly and meet project requirements
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including project owners, clients, and senior management
  • Preparing agendas, running design/coordination meetings, and providing minutes
  • Managing resources in the development of construction documents
  • Serving as a technical resource for others throughout the firm, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise
