We are urgently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our financial information. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial reporting, derivative and hedge accounting, and SEC regulatory requirements. They will also be responsible for preparing and filing quarterly and annual reports, and maintaining investor relations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company's financial health and stability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and file quarterly (10Q) and annual (10K) financial statements in accordance with the US GAAP.
  2. Manage the preparation of 8K filings as required.
  3. Oversee derivative and hedge accounting to ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with investors, providing them with accurate and timely financial information.
  5. Conduct regular reviews and updates of the company's accounting policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  7. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the company's financial systems and processes.
  8. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes within the financial industry.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree CMA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably in public accounting or within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proficient in SEC regulatory requirements, GAAP, and financial reporting tools.
  4. Experience with derivative and hedge accounting is a must.
  5. Strong knowledge of preparing 10K, 10Q, and 8K filings.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  8. Proficient in using advanced financial software and MS Office Suite.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
