Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

We are a fast growing Construction company who is in search of a Bookkeeper.

We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Oversee Inter-Company transactions and reconcile inter-company accounts
• Prepare and review financial reports and provide analysis to management
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
• Partner with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with annual audits and tax filings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and General Ledger accounting
• Experience with Inter-Company transactions and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
