Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense, you will:

  1. Manage and oversee a wide range of insurance defense claims, including transportation, premises liability, personal injury, product liability, employment disputes, business disputes, construction liability, and public entity defense.
  2. Develop and implement robust defense strategies, ensuring the most favorable outcomes for our clients.
  3. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to strengthen case strategies.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and settlement agreements.
  5. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, presenting clear, compelling arguments.
  6. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their queries and concerns.
  7. Stay updated with the latest developments in insurance law and related areas, ensuring our firm's services remain at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar. (TX)
  3. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on areas such as transportation, premises liability, personal injury, product liability, employment disputes, business disputes, construction liability, and public entity defense.
  4. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
  5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  6. The ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing tasks to meet strict deadlines.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.
