Salary: $70,000 - $78,000 per year

What You'll Do:
- Review and process invoices for assigned portfolio of projects
- Maintain accurate monthly billing for assigned projects according to their contract
- Reconcile job cost reports including labor, materials, subcontractor expenses, and overhead ensuring the draw to the client matches the job cost detail within the accounting software
- Record monthly billing and payables into accounting system for all projects before month end
- Knowledge of AIA G702/G703 Application for Payment Billing/Requisition process.
- Process and distribute payments to subcontractors for an assigned project once project funds have been received and releases have been verified
- Track Notice to Owners and Releases for various subcontractors and suppliers in accounting software
- Review PM software for Subcontracts and Change Orders to enter into accounting software daily
- Maintain the accuracy of project contract amount in accounting software and updating when changes occur
- Maintain accurate project-related records, including contracts and change orders
- Compare project budgets to actual expenses, identifying variances and working with project managers to address discrepancies.
- Record general ledger and job cost journal entries as needed
- Respond to inquiries from the project team within a timely manner
- Extract data from accounting software and disburse to the team to upload to additional platforms as needed
- Maintain insurance policy program, verifying data
- Regular follow up on outstanding A/R with teammates and/or clients
- Closely monitor risk management items and proactively notify management of concerns
- Research and maintain knowledge of multi-state lien laws
- Communicate clearly and timely across the company; takes action to request information necessary to meet customer expectations and internal deadlines
- Maintain healthy, professional relationships, both internally and externally
- Create a consistent, professional work product that meets or exceeds standards

- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and/or at least 2 years of construction accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Procure, AIA Form, Textura and Acumatica a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent math and problem-solving skills
- Basic data entry skills
