Title: Quality Manager

Location: Monrovia, IN

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000

• Lead and promote a culture of quality by guiding the Quality Lead Team and implementing a robust Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Foster a "zero incident mentality" by developing and managing policies and procedures for Quality, Sanitation, and Product Security.
• Act as the primary contact for annual and periodic third-party SQF audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
• Develop and document standards for processes, products, and test procedures to uphold the highest quality.
• Assess facility personnel performance, providing recommendations for training and development to enhance team capabilities.
• Drive initiatives to achieve superior manufacturing hygiene audit scores and embed a hygienic culture within daily operations.
• Collaborate with Business Unit colleagues to ensure quality standards align with operational goals.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defective materials, maintaining a database to inform continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies to guarantee product safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or 5-10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of experience in technical, manufacturing, and quality management, preferably within the flexible packaging or printing industries.
• Familiarity with TQM, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Manager of Quality, Certified Black Belt/Green Belt) are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP compliance and SQF practices, with the ability to serve as the facility's SQF Practitioner.
