Fabricator Welder

Job Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Fabricator/Welder for our client in NE Portland. In this role you'll be instrumental in constructing dams, bulkheads, bridges, and other structural components. Your expertise in steel fabrication, welding, and assembly will be crucial in bringing our client’s most ambitious projects to fruition. Fabricator Welder Requirements: Fabricate and erect structural steel components for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, adhering to strict codes and standards. Interpret complex blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure precise execution of each steel structure. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to overcome challenges and optimize design solutions. Champion a culture of safety and quality, maintaining rigorous standards throughout the fabrication process. Fabricator Welder Qualifications: Journeyman level in structural steel fabrication or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience. Proficiency in welding processes such as SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW, with a focus on structural integrity and weld quality. A deep understanding of steel properties, fabrication techniques, and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, ready to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Fabricator Welder Benefits: Swing Shift 2:30pm to 11pm Monday - Friday Day Shift: 6am to 2:30pm $27-29/hr DOE Medical and Dental Minimum Education Required: High School Years of Experience Required: More than 5 years Expected Travel Time: None
