Our client is searching for a Small Animal Medical Director to lead their clinic. In this position, you will ensure top-tier patient care while cultivating a positive and collaborative team environment. You will work hand-in-hand with the Clinic Manager, providing mentorship to Associate Veterinarians and overseeing the daily operations of the clinic.
As Medical Director , you will guide Associate Veterinarians, providing feedback and fostering their growth. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of veterinary care, creating a strong team culture, and ensuring an excellent client experience. Additionally, you'll play a key role in recruiting and developing the clinic's veterinary staff.
This role requires a Veterinary Medical Degree and eligibility for state licensure in New York. A DEA license may be necessary, and experience in leadership is highly valued. Applicants should have 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience and a passion for both patient care and team development.
