The Lab Medical Assistant III is responsible for:
Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testingCommunications with nursing regarding patient specimensReferring specimens to outside laboratoriesInteraction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab testsPerformance of phlebotomy proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedHighly Focused on Processing / Send OutsCredentials:
Driver's License in the State of FloridaRequired ASPT (Phlebotomy Technicians)Or ASCPOr AMT (Medical Technologists)Or ParamedicOr EMT (Emergency)Or Medical TechnologistOr Medical Technologist Eligible to obtainOr LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the State of FloridaOr RN (Registered Nurse) in the State of FloridaEducation:
Required High School or equivalentExperience:
