What Will You Do in This Role?
As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
Do You Have What It Takes?A fire and passion for working with seniorsA flexible, fun, and energetic personalityAccreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.Professional image in both appearance and behaviorExcellent written and oral communication skillsHow Can You Benefit?
