Material Handler -Temporary

The Applied Companies is assisting a valued client with hiring a Temporary Material Handler who will be responsible for moving materials, supplies, components to designated areas within the facility and picking/packing of orders. They will also organize and wraps skids, load out bound and unload inbound shipments, and receive purchase orders and distribution orders.What the Material Handler Will Do: Fulfilling pick tickets and getting parts to proper location in a timely mannerOperating, loading/unloading trucksAbility to identify, label parts and ensure quantity of parts to be shippedMust be able to work independentlyMust be able to use counting scaleAbility to follow up on pick ticketsAbility to learn and retain general knowledge of quantification of parts along with when and where they goInform Supervisor of any issues with operation or qualityMaintain a clean workstation and facilityMust wear proper PPE if required at all times and conform to all safety rules and regulationsPerform other tasks asked by ManagementWhat Material Handler Needs to Have:Must have shipping/receiving experienceMust have experience with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to lift/push/pull minimal of 40 lbs.Must have basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measureMust have handheld power tool experiencePrevious forklift experience preferredMonday to Friday7 am - 3:30 pm
