Job Description

The

Vice President of Product for Financial Services

is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and leading the product strategy for deposit, lending, and compliance products. This position will develop the product roadmap, identify product requirements, and establish priorities to drive revenue growth and align with market demands. The VP Product, FS will collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization, including brands and service teams, to ensure that product offerings meet customer needs and regulatory standards. A strong background in digital marketing and omni-channel strategies is essential for this role.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESProduct Strategy and Vision

* Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends. * Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap to support company goals and strategies, including omni-channel initiatives. 25%Revenue Management

* Drive revenue growth through strategic product development and execution for deposit, lending, and compliance products. * Analyze the competitive environment and recommend action plans for maximum profitability. 25%Product Development and Lifecycle Management

* Initiate, prioritize, and delegate projects within engineering, assisting in determining the best technical implementation methods. * Track product development and develop product launch plans, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. 10%Team Leadership

* Lead and manage a diverse team of Product Managers, hiring and coaching talent to leverage best practices and elevate performance. * Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the product management function. 10%Stakeholder Collaboration

* Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align digital product and experience strategies with customer needs, brand positioning, and revenue goals. * Create a standard framework around the company's product development efforts. 10%Compliance and Risk Management

* Ensure all products comply with relevant financial regulations and standards. * Spearhead and provide strategic leadership in "build versus buy versus partner" analysis for new offerings or new markets. 10%Cross Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with Engineering and Operations to create, communicate, maintain, and help enforce project timelines. * Contribute as needed to other Product/Design and User Experience projects. 10%Qualifications

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).Master's degree or advanced degree (Preferred).EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10+ years experience in digital marketing and omni-channel strategies (Required).10+ years of formal product management methodology experience blended with several years of practical experience, resulting in proven success launching new products (Required).6+ years leading a team (Required).COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

Interacting and working cross functionally with all business units to receive input, solve problems, share best practices, and understand the impact of different product initiatives.DECISION MAKING

Owns interpreting business strategy and translating it into tactical departmental strategies and plans.Responsible for addressing complex business issues beyond immediate needs or where established policies may not be aligned with business needs/objectives.Requires broad conceptual judgment and ability to deal with complex factors not easily evaluated.Significant autonomous decision-making authority.

Additional Information

Base Salary: $230,000 - $250,000

Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
