Dixon is looking for a Welder to join its manufacturing team in its Houston, TX manufacturing facility. Mechanical aptitude a must! Completes MIG and TIG welding of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum. Operates various fabrication tools and is willing to help wherever needed with other duties in the shop. Applicants should have 1-2 years of welding experience and 2-3 years of industrial work experience. Welding certificates is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete production welding in a timely mannerFollow shop orders and printsOperate shop equipment as neededCOMPETENCIES:

Experience welding both MIG & TIGExperience welding Carbon, Stainless, and Aluminum alloysWelding certification preferred but not required, must be able to become certified to internal Welding Procedure SpecificationsMachine Shop or metal working experienceTeam playerLift 70 lbs. consistently over course of shiftWork with minimal instructionStay on task and communicate well with othersBasic data entry
