Summary of Position:
The Division of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery, Department of Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time faculty member. The selected candidate will primarily focus on abdominal wall reconstruction and hernia repair, but minimally invasive/general skills are required. Candidates with flexible endoscopy training are favored.
Position Highlights
Join a division of 6 fellowship-trained surgeons, 2 fellows and 4 APPs
1 in 7 call covering service patients only (no emergency general surgery call)
Robotic block time, endoscopy blocks guaranteed
Rank commensurate with experience
Participation in medical education (student, resident, fellow)

MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
BC/BE General Surgery
Fellowship training in Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and/or Minimally Invasive Surgery

Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
