Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Ogdensburg, NY

Job Opportunity in Ogdensburg, NY

A facility in Ogdensburg, NY is looking for a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (MS RN). The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg

Experience with CAPD and Vapotherm is a plus

Additional responsibilities may include floating in Med Surg capacity to clinics and assisting with vaccine distribution. A 48-hour contract may be available but will be billed at the current rate with no overtime billed out for the 48-hour contract.

Requirements

At least two years of recent experience in the field

Current BLS certification

A current nursing license per the state of assignment

Charting System: Meditech

RN:PT Ratio is approximately 1:6

Only Med Surg unit in the facility

Includes Geriatric, PEDS, Med Surg, Oncology, and an Infusion Center

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week
