Setup Technician

Job Summary MacLean-Fogg is seeking a skilled Setup Technician to perform installation and calibration of various machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation. Key Responsibilities Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make adjustments as needed Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance, and fix standard malfunctions Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation Operate powered industrial equipment as needed Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately Adhere to 5S standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures Requirements Perform work under direct supervision Handle basic issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff Possess a beginning to working knowledge of subject matter 0-2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment Competencies/Skills Ability to interpret work instructions Ability to follow written and verbal directions Basic verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift/move heavy objects Manual dexterity Physical stamina MacLean-Fogg is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
