Unit Specifics:Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post StemiCTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sxDrips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and InsulinSpecialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
