SUMMARY:
This Vice President of Human Resources will oversee HR on an international scale acting as a thought-leader and valuable resource to Executive Management while developing effective and scalable HR solutions. This role will also be responsible for ensuring high level efficiency and effectiveness across all HR functions, as well as managing the HR team both domestically and internationally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Initiatives:
Oversee Global HR Team providing strategic direction, support, and guidance to ensure effective execution of HR initiatives in alignment with business goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize compensation and benefits structures, taking into account market trends, employee needs, and budget considerations.
Oversee Immigration process & compliance including sponsored VISA applications and other related needs.
Policies & Procedures:
Ensure employment related policies and programs are delivered consistently while maintaining appropriate flexibility to ensure local/regional success.
Ensure compliance with all international, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices, monitor labor law updates for changes that impact business operations.
Employee Relations:
Partner with Senior HR Managers and department leaders to provide strategic counsel on employment-related matters including performance management, coaching and development, disciplinary action, management and leadership skills training.
Act as an advisor to the company on relevant legal affairs. Work with internal & external counsel on employment-related matters as needed.
Learning & Development/DE&I:
Oversee comprehensive learning and development programs while contributing to the company's goals.
Develop a comprehensive DE&I strategy aligned with the organization's goals and values.
Continuously assess and refine the strategy to drive meaningful change.
Develop a culture of high performance, innovation and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be based in Los Angeles
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
10+ years Human Resources work experience
5+ years experience leading and managing a successful team of HR professionals
Extensive knowledge of international, federal and multi-state employment laws
Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives
Proven ability to drive organizational change and transformation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay resilient and have an adaptable approach to problem solving
PAY SCALE:
$175,000 - $200,000/annually
