Must be comfortable with general dentist procedures: restorative, crowns and bridgework, removable dentures, anterior and molar endodontic procedures, simple and surgical extractions.Good bedside manner.Ability to work in a team environment.Experience with placing implants is preferred but not required.Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers, and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene.Examine the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to spot signs of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health.Supervise dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans.Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated.Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate.Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:Experience required.Unrestricted and current state license in good standing.CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications are required.Possess strong bedside manner and great communication skills.Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry.Relevant knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is an asset.Compensation
