We are in search of a proficient communicator with outstanding verbal and written abilities, a proactive nature, adept at thriving in a dynamic setting, and capable of excelling both independently and collaboratively.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and edit various legal documents related to Probate Law such as Accounting Petitions, Petitions for Instructions, and Conservatorship PetitionsManage Trust Administrations, Probate cases, and Conservatorship cases from beginning to endAddress Probate Notes and Tentative Rulings by providing SupplementsWork closely with the Owner and Senior Associate Attorney to ensure the progress of casesDelegate tasks to paralegals, legal assistants, and law clerks, overseeing their workLead initial consultations and client meetingsMaintain strong client relationships through consistent and timely communicationRepresent clients at hearingsCoordinate with the billing department to prepare and send out invoicesQualifications

Our ideal Associate Attorney would have demonstrated experience in the following:Minimum of four (4) years experience in any two of the following areas: Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Trust Administration, Conservatorships, and/or ProbateLicensed with the California State BarHas the capacity to handle matters and clients independently (after a period of orientation and monitored work)Is dedicated to ensuring that clients receive top-notch service and resultsHas strong computer skills with extensive experience using MS Office Suite, timekeeping, and case management softwareMust have emotional intelligence and empathy. Our ideal Associate Attorney must have compassion for our clients and for humankind, and cannot be someone who cannot deal well with peopleAbility to work in the office (this is not a remote position)Compensation
