Data Architect

The data architect will be responsible for the analysis, design, architecture and development of a new data integration, data warehouse and analytic solution. A strong background in data integration, data modeling and cloud architecture with the ability to undertake complex challenges and deliver measurable results is required.What You Can Do

Leverage hands-on development with data integration technologies or scripting languagesDefine cloud or on-premise data strategies, including designing multi-phased implementation roadmapsLead the analysis, architecture, design and development of data solutions including cloud and/or on-premise data warehouse and business intelligence solutionsArchitect solutions using Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and related technologiesExplore emerging technologies vendors and recommend/advise clients on architectures (e.g., Big Data, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses)Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problemsMonitor industry trends and directions in data technology and toolsServe as the lead technical resource in oversight and planning of data models and database structural design and development.Requirements:

Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, data marts, data stores and/or cubesExperience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory and AWS GlueExperience with database technologies, such as Oracle and SQL ServerExperience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau and PowerBIExperience with data modeling tools such as ERWINExperience in performance tuning of complex ETL mappingsArchitectural knowledge of Hadoop and related technologiesKnowledge of advanced SQL programming, PL/SQL or T-SQLGood understanding of the full software development life cycleStrong analytical problem-solving abilityGreat written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project teamProject experience with cloud-based development and deployment.Who You Are
