Job Description Summary:

Meet our team PayPal Complete Payments Platform (PPCP) powers PayPal’s Unbranded and Gateway payments acceptance solutions and payment services. We're launching a new era of growth for PPCP by uniting our payment brands with a wealth of payment options, risk and experience tools, and cutting-edge monetization experiences. We are looking for a Product Manager, Unbranded Payment Processing to lead in this new era of growth. As the Senior Product Manager for the Unbranded Card Payments, you will play a pivotal role in development, rollout and adoption of Card processing services that are a part of the PPCP product suite. Your responsibilities will include leading strategic initiatives to optimize payment processing, drive market expansion, and expand PPCP adoption by existing and new merchants.

Your day to day:

Own one or more payment processing capabilities and products.

Build and execute on the merchant payment acceptance roadmap.

With minimal guidance, develop a product strategy and lead end to end program execution.

Partner with engineering teams, business analytics, program managers, sales and card relationships teams to rollout capabilities globally.

Identify goals, define metrics and setup observability to drive prioritization, product goals.

Work closely with development teams in an agile environment.

Product Development and Management:

Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, prioritization, development, and release.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

Ensure that products meet security, compliance, and performance standards.

Customer Focus and Stakeholder Management:

Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are central to the product development process.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

Develop and present business cases, product proposals, and performance reports to senior management.

Technical Expertise:

Maintain a solid understanding of CNP processing, 3ds, CIT/ MIT framework, payment gateways, tokenization, and other related technologies.

Expertise in design and build of REST APIs, js SDKs, webhooks.

Experience in leading merchants through platform migrations and integration changes to take advantage of latest capabilities.

Provide guidance and support to the Sales, merchant services team in helping merchants (re)integrate with newer payment acceptance capabilities.

Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, card network mandates and global regulatory changes.

What do you need to bring:

7+ years of experience in product management within the payment industry, with a focus on CNP processing and checkout flows.

Strong technical background with a deep understanding of card processing, 3DS, CIT/MIT framework, tokenization, and payment networks.

Experience working in product-centric companies, with significant cross functional internal and external dependencies.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Breadth and depth of industry experience in executing partnership strategies, prioritizing product backlog by balancing short term goals and long-term plans.

PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $64000 to $156750.

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace.
