We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Director of Product Management
to lead and drive the development of our financial products. This role will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure the company’s solutions remain competitive and align with market needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, product management, and a passion for building impactful products that deliver measurable business results.Key Responsibilities:Develop and own the product vision and roadmap for the financial services portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.Lead a team of product managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, operations, etc.) to drive product innovation, development, and go-to-market strategies.Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for new products or enhancements.Define and track key product performance metrics, ensuring products meet or exceed revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction goals.Partner with stakeholders across the organization to prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource constraints.Ensure all products comply with financial industry regulations, risk management practices, and security requirements.Lead product launches, including the creation of product positioning, messaging, and marketing plans to drive adoption and market success.Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to execution, including product discovery, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product management team.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Product Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).10-15 years proven experience in product management, IT project portfolio management, or strategy within the financial software industry. At least 3 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated business acumen within custom software development and fixed income capital markets domains.Strong understanding of financial industry regulations, compliance, and risk management.Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage large, complex product portfolios.Experience working with Agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Confluence).Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
