The OpportunityAs a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Kandji, you will leverage Kandji’s powerful data platform to build custom tooling for our Threat Researchers and Detection Engineers. You will work alongside our Data, App, and Infrastructure engineers as well as our Threat Intelligence subject matter experts.
We are looking for a software engineer with experience building Data-intensive applications using modern component-based UI frameworks and libraries. Simple, intuitive, and functional above all else.
How you'll make a difference day to day
Equip Threat Intelligence teams with the tooling they need to keep Kandji’s Security products world-class
Function as an embedded asset within Kandji Labs on cross-domain projects
Design and implement internal tooling applications end-to-end
Contribute to tooling end-to-end by developing backend services and/or frontend components
Develop intuitive, simple, functional software designed to access large data
Triage issues and implement appropriate fixes
Become an authority on tooling applications
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional engineering experience with modern languages and frameworks (Python, Django or FastAPI preferred)
3+ years of professional engineering experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Remix.js, Svelte or Vue)
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of datastore technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch)
Knowledge of data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift)
Experience with writing integration and unit tests (pytest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Understanding of version control systems (Git).
Required to work on-site 5x a week in our San Francisco office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or working with Security/Threat Intelligence products
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience with APIs (such as RESTful) and microservice or service-oriented architecture
Knowledge of Kafka or other distributed event streaming platforms
Experience in collaborative coding environments, possibly including open-source contributions.
Salary
$185,000 - $206,000 a year
