two or more years working as an Investment Banking Senior Associate or Vice President
with early stage, venture-backed, technology companies. We expect a successful candidate to have graduated from an MBA program.This candidate is expected to show a willingness to take on a variety of assignments and be flexible as to work responsibilities. Initially, the position will be split roughly 50/50 between analytical and client management requirements although we would expect the client engagement management component to grow over time.Essential Job FunctionsLeading and executing the marketing and execution of mandatesDeveloping industry, market sector and company research and analysisPreparing company presentations and other client materialsDeveloping financial and valuation modelsInterfacing with clients on a regular basisCalling investors or acquirersManaging due diligence for the firm’s clientsManaging transactions (M&A, valuations, private placements) and supporting senior deal teamSupervising Analysts and AssociatesAreas of focus for the firm include all areas of technology, encompassing infrastructure and security software, HR tech, enterprise software, storage, semiconductor, systems and communications technologies, mobile, and gaming.Prerequisites & QualificationsBA/BS degree from a top tier university is preferredSix+ years working in investment bankingSIE, Series 63, and Series 79 requiredRecord of academic excellence with proven leadership abilityAbility to work independentlyDemonstrated knowledge of technology and financeStrong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environmentStrong client focus and relationship management skillsVery strong financial modeling/valuation skills are essentialStrong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbalResourcefulness, energy, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPlease do not contact individual employees of GrowthPoint for this role and complete the application instructions provided in this listing.
