This pairs with the Group’s leadership in coffee and other key categories.
General Role Description:The Director of Finance is responsible for company-wide financial planning and analysis activities. This broad, hands-on role encompasses budgeting/forecasting, reporting, financial support for business decisions, strategic planning, and evaluation of new ventures. This role will report to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Own/Develop/Maintain/Enhance budgeting and forecasting models and monthly pacing
Responsible for company-wide financial and non-financial KPI reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
Create and improve channel/customer/product level profitability analysis to drive commercial results
Analyze sales reports; evaluate retail performance and optimize pricing strategies
Support preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly financial business reviews and other reporting for the senior leadership team and Board of Directors, including strategic/business insights and progress against key performance measures
Improve performance across the business by identifying and assessing areas where the company can drive productivity and efficiency; establish Finance department best practices and improve upon existing processes and procedures
Drive data mining and business intelligence efforts in support of business within the PowerBI environment
Partner with Accounting on monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assist with various ad-hoc projects as required
Skillset:
10+ years of experience performing strong and progressive financial analytics in dynamic companies in the retail/CPG industry
BS degree; CPA or MBA a plus
Individual must have a strong understanding of financial accounting/GAAP; public accounting experience is a strong plus
Consumer products, retail, and e-commerce experience is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (PowerBI/Tableau a plus)
Self-starter capable of driving results without significant supervision and effective in dealing with ambiguity
Hands-on, down to earth, roll-up sleeves approach
Proven ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing company
Possesses a mindset of always finding a faster and more efficient way of doing things
High aptitude for problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis
Salary:155,000 - 170,000 per year
