The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of general commercial litigation experience, supporting a diverse range of matters, including real estate, banking, insurance, and construction disputes.Location:Seattle, WADuties:Assist with all aspects of litigation, including initial case evaluations and budgeting.Manage communications with clients, opposing parties, and affiliated parties.Develop case strategies and manage case schedules.Handle all aspects of discovery, including e-discovery and depositions.Manage motion practice throughout various stages of proceedings.Conduct hearings in federal and state courts and at arbitration.Facilitate settlement conferences and mediations, including strategy preparation for position statements.Prepare for and handle arbitrations and trials or aspects thereof.Requirements:Licensed to practice in Washington or eligible for reciprocity.4 to 8 years of general commercial litigation experience.Ability to manage cases with minimal oversight.Strong oral and written communication skills.Capacity to work both collaboratively and independently.Excellent research, writing, and public speaking skills.Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:License to practice in Washington (or eligibility for reciprocity).Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective interpersonal skills.Experience in construction litigation is a plus.Licensure in Oregon and/or California is ideal, but not required.Competitive benefits package, including:
