The Marketing Writer/Editor is a short/medium-term consultant position created to support collateral development for Amideast’s strategic communications team. This position will draft and edit a suite of one-pagers and fact sheets that highlight the organization’s mission and various program areas.The consultant will work under the supervision of the strategic communications director to develop collateral that is engaging, informative, and accurate.RESPONSIBILITIES:Content Creation:

Create compelling and informative fact sheets, one-pagers and other marketing collateral that promotes the organization’s mission and programs.Collaboration:

Coordinate with strategic communications to maintain project timeline and ensure accuracy of information and messaging.Editing and Proofreading:

Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring it meets messaging and brand guidelines.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and 2-3 years of experience in a higher education, agency or non-profit settingProven writing and copyediting skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a compelling and succinct styleFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be detail-oriented
