Silk is seeking a highly motivated, growth-focused, and results-driven Regional Sales Director who demonstrates high business acumen. The RSD is responsible for the complete sales lifecycle, targeting and closing new business with Silk’s largest most strategic customers and prospects. In this role you are passionate about uncovering the pain points organizations face as they operate in or migrate to a cloud environment at scale, while delivering the appropriate Silk solution.Responsibilities

Prospect into small and large enterprise companies while running an efficient sales processMaintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contactsDevelop a deep comprehension of the customer's businessNegotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROIHandle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territoryDemonstrate resourcefulness and creativity when faced with challenges that defy easy solutionHave intuitive sense of necessary steps to close business and gain customer validationIdentify robust set of business drivers behind all opportunitiesEnsure high forecasting accuracy and consistencyRequirements

Someone with 5+ years selling cloud products to Director level + and C-Suite decision makers at Enterprise organizations (including large enterprises with multiple stakeholders such as IT, Networking and Security)Driven and have met/exceeded direct sales goals of 1M+Experienced developing and sustaining strong relationships and selling into enterprise organizations with the ability to win new logosAble to demonstrate a methodology (MEDDIC a plus) to prospect and build pipeline on your ownExperience managing multiple, large, sophisticated opportunities at various stages of the sales cycleExperienced working for an innovative tech company; start up experience a plusRecord of accomplishment of leading, in collaboration with a solution architect, technical conversations and persuading others to act based on requirements and value provided by solutionsHandled ambitious or complex situations and can demonstrate resolutionsWork within a geographically distributed team environment with sales, solution architects, customer success, product, engineering, and marketing peersAbility to navigate data and people to find answers to drive the decision path forwardAble to travel up 50% of the timeSilk recognizes that talent and potential come in all forms and that years of experience does not guarantee on-the-job success or leadership potential.
