The Assistant Director of Digital Marketing: Automations will oversee implementing, managing, and optimizing all marketing automation software (Mass Mailer & Marketing Cloud) and CRM (Salesforce) lead nurturing automation. This role will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions, enhance data-driven decision-making, and direct the automated student acquisition communications strategy to meet enrollment goals.Job Responsibilities:Lead Nurturing Automation Strategy and Implementation:

Develop and execute a comprehensive automated student acquisition communications strategy aligned with enrollment and business goals. Lead the implementation of marketing automation software solutions, including campaign automation, lead nurturing, and customer journey mapping. Oversee CRM automation projects, including workflow automation and process builder. (25%)Manage Data and Audience Segmentation:

Manage data and audience segmentation in CRM to ensure campaigns are targeted and relevant. Write and optimize SQL statements. Configure technical setup to allow for the use of data to inform personalized content and messaging for different audience segments. Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR). (25%)Campaign Management and Optimization:

Design, execute, and optimize automated campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Collaborate with marketing, recruitment, and retention teams to develop personalized and targeted communication strategies. Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness and ROI. Utilize AMPScript language as it relates to content and personalization. (25%)Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead and mentor a team of marketing automation managers. Foster collaboration between marketing, recruitment, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of automation initiatives. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on automation best practices and tools. (10%)Reporting and Analytics:

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the performance of lead nurturing automation initiatives. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. (10%)Other Duties as Assigned:

This position may be asked to work during an official closure but is otherwise not required to report to the physical campus during a closure and whose absence does not present a risk to the safety, resources, and well-being of the campus per FASOP HR-01.Additional Information:Due to the nature of the position and/or responsibilities, in times of emergencies and/or University closures, this position is considered operational essential. It may be required to assist the Office of Communications and University Relations on necessary communications matters in times of crisis, including potentially working in LSU's Emergency Operations Center during those times.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Information Technology with 4+ years of experience in marketing automation and/or project management.Specific Experience:Experience with writing SQL and AMPscript languages.Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.Preferred Certifications/Languages:

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator).Special Instructions:
