Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is seeking a full time Psychiatric Physician or Nurse Practitioner to join our team and to help individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. We are a large, community mental health center that offers patients comprehensive outpatient treatment, supplemental psychiatric care and case management services. This position Why Work at GCBHS? Provides accurate, timely documentation of assessment and care provided to GCB clients. Works collaboratively with GCB psychiatrists, nurses and staff, and other outside caregivers. Initiates doctor's orders and other requests, and interprets laboratory evaluations. Makes referrals when indicated for medical or other needed services. Completes external reports (ex. FMLA, probation) as needed. Manages prescriptions, administration of medications, and education for GCB clients. Collaborates with family and significant others when applicable. Position Requirements: Valid, unrestricted Ohio Psychiatric APRN, CNS, or PMHNP license required. MD/Psychiatrist preferred. Current/Active DEA registration.
