Position DescriptionRyder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled and Semi-Skilled Construction Laborers to ensure expert craftsmanship at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Dallas, TexasWarehouse, Manufacturing and Construction positions pay WeeklyHourly Pay $16.00 per hourAdditional Pay: $0.52 piece rate will apply in lieu of hourly rate after training is completedSchedule: First Shift Friday - Sunday 4:00 am - 2:30 pm and Second Shift Monday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

ResponsibilitiesSafely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that meets company safety standardsOperate a pry bar to detach damaged boards from the palletsOperate a hammer, grinder and a saw to remove existing nails and use a 25 lb nail gun to nail together the componentsManually lift 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair tablePallet must meet and pass CHEP's quality control auditMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work areaConduct operations in a manner which promotes safetyComply with OSHA and MSDS StandardsMust wear all safety equipment while repairing palletsPerforms other duties as required
