Education and Experience "
Experience with various data storage solutions including Azure Databricks, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos, Azure Data Lake, or similar.5+ years of experience working with data engineering and analytic teams to deliver technology solutions that facilitate BI, analysis, and operational processes that incorporate analytics insights in to them.3+ years' experience working with cloud platforms to delivery technology solutions to end users, within a hybrid environment.2+ years working in in Commercial P&C insurance2+ years engaging technical and operational business partners in change management activities to ensure adoption of new technology, processes or analytical tools2+ years evaluating and building cost benefit analysis around new technologies and approaches to business opportunities. Demonstrated ability to help others understand and learn new technologies, methods and practices. Ability to design and integrate game changing technologies into existing business processes.2+ years working with subject matter experts, and technical teams to design, implement and support data management practices within a large or medium sized organization10 + years overall IT industry experience, minimum of 3 years in a solution or technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms5+ years' experience in designing technology solutions that deliver on business objectives and support strategic goals of an organization.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Analytics tools like Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau, Alteryx, Azure Stream, SQL Analytics, Data Lake AnalyticsCertifications e.g . Microsoft, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal, CISSIP, Zachman, ITIL, Cisco, (ISC) 2 , CEH, SAFe, PMI, and SAP etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "
Foundational background in programming with various programming languages including .NET, Java, Python, or PowerShellUnderstanding of latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options. One or more programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, etc.Relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, Hadoop, Neo4j etc.Data movement and transformation technologies such as Alteryx etc.Visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauAnalytics tools including Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Analytics, Data Lake Analytics.AI and Machine Learning tools such as Azure ML etc.Delivery using common methodologies especially SAFe Agile but also Waterfall, Iterative etc.Certifications e.g . Microsoft, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal, CISSIP, Zachman, ITIL, Cisco, (ISC) 2 , CEH, SAFe, PMI, and SAP etc.
