JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring talented full-time Warehouse Associates to join our team in Fernley, NV. At this distribution center, a warehouse worker plays an important role in our business success. You would perform a range of functions that may include; processing of incoming stock/materials, packing/filling orders, and shipping orders. While doing these functions in the warehouse, we look for accuracy and efficiency to insure achievement of corporate and customers' objectives. Polaris offers training in-house on all processes and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing items in their correct locationProperly picks and packs orders (as assigned) to be shipped according to company standardsReliably retrieves items in the warehouse to be processed and shippedVerifies and records incoming product (as assigned) accurately and efficiently.Understands barcode technology and operates RF equipment as assignedOperates automated picking equipment, power conveyors, and forklifts as assignedOrganize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to the company standardsMaintain and report all safety procedures/issuesAssists in maintaining a neat and orderly warehouseConsistently achieves or exceeds warehouse operational pick/pack/ship/receive volume and quality standardsPositive attitude. Excellent time management and attendance performanceOther duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; must be 18 years of age or olderAbility to read and comprehend pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips and instructions.Must be able to do basic arithmetic; skill levels normally acquired through the completion of high school.Operates automated carts and other such machineryPrevious warehouse experience preferredKnowledge of Polaris product and parts preferredPrior forklift experience preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard fast- paced warehouse environmentLift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. individually or 75 lbs. with a team lift, as many warehouse items are heavyAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for long periods of time and working primarily standingAbility to tolerate heights up to 26 feetDuring peak operational periods overtime may be required, including weekends'
Base Pay Range:$16.85 - $20.77
