Description
Allied Alloys, LP is a company that is redefining quality in recycled metals by building alliances with suppliers as well as offering a refined approach to alloys management. We currently have a position available for a mule / yard truck driver.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Prepares mule truck for operation by completing general inspection, daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection report, and reports any needed repairs to supervisor.
•Shuttling containers, flatbeds, and van trailers to destinations between the two facilities throughout the day.
•Container shuttling will require driver to inspect all tires and container itself for any damage; report required repairs. As well as cut shipment seals, close container doors, and take photos of export containers as required.
•Flatbed shuttling will require driver to sweep the trailer deck of any debris left over from material transfer
•Maintain safe operations and clean appearance by safely complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local driver rules and regulations.
•Deliver items by identifying destinations; assist with loading and unloading items as required.
•Job duties may vary depending on day to day as needed by supervisors and operations, including local flatbed pickups and deliveries
Requirements
•A safe previous driving record.
•CDL, Class A (NOTE - ability to drive a manual transmission is required)
•2+ years mule truck experience
•Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
•Ability to meet D.O.T. medical and drug testing requirements.
•Good verbal communication skills, and team player

$21.00/per hour
