Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and diligent Unarmed Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling access control, traffic direction, patrols, and emergency response while enforcing company policies and procedures. This role demands strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations. It also calls for dependability and professionalism to positively and effectively represent the company to all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Access Control:

• Monitor and regulate entry and exit points for all visitors, vendors, truckloads, and employees.
• Ensure proper identification and authorization of individuals entering the premises.
• Check and log visitors' IDs, issue visitor badges, and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing personnel.

• Direct and control vehicle traffic within the facility, including parking areas for visitors, vendors, and truck drivers.
• Manage the flow of delivery trucks, ensuring proper loading and unloading in designated areas.

• Conduct regular patrols of the factory premises, including parking lots, loading docks, and other critical areas.
• Monitor security cameras to identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, reporting any security concerns to management.

• Greet visitors and vendors, guide them through the security process, and ensure they reach their intended destinations.
• Escort visitors and vendors to authorized areas within the factory as needed.
• Ensure vendors comply with factory protocols, including safety regulations.

• Serve as the first point of contact during emergency situations, such as fire, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
• Follow established safety protocols, including the evacuation of personnel and notification of emergency services.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety policies.

• Verify shipment paperwork and direct deliveries to the correct departments.
• Record truck arrival and departure times, and track shipments.
• Inspect cargo, when required, to ensure compliance with factory security policies and standards.

• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, including incidents, deliveries, and access logs.
• Document and report any security incidents, policy violations, or unusual activities to management.

• Ensure employees and visitors comply with company policies, such as proper identification and safety gear usage.
• Prevent unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Enforce rules related to smoking, parking, and general conduct within the premises.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience required.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.
• Familiarity with safety and security protocols.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• May require working in various weather conditions while patrolling the premises.
• Ability to lift and inspect heavy objects as part of shipment monitoring.

• Must be available for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
