Description

•Responsible for assisting in planning, directing, and coordinating all operations and personnel management. Ultimately responsible for managing the restaurant.

•Monitor all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure the quality of the product and guest services.

•Monitor job performance; food and labor costs, budgets, and sales; labor payroll sheets.

•Complete knowledge of all expectations of the Manager position.

•Effective coaching/counseling.

•Manages HR issues.

•Trains and mentors FOH employees.

•Orientation of all new staff.

•Understand General Ledger.

•Knowledge of accounts/approved vendors.

•Bar management.

•Liquor inventory.

•Maintain budgeted food and beverage cost.

•Involved in increasing bar sales.

•Produce cost effective specials.

•Liquor ordering.

•Handle cash transactions, comps, or voids, and amounts of cash.

•Enter all invoices.

•Create FOH schedules using 7Shifts.

•Keep marketing material current.

•Menu spec compliance.

•Knowledge of Health Inspections.

•Display good judgement.

•Maintain a positive attitude and professional approach to coworkers and customers.

Requirements

•Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety

•Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability.

•Strong communication and leadership skills.

•Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.

•Ability to lead big groups of people.

•Minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Restaurant FOH Manager in a full-service concept.
