Most important things:Finding someone who can write pretty complex stored procedures from scratch after given an ERP/wireframe, back end custom application work.Reporting with SSRS is a must and SSIS isn't as important.Should be able to understand wireframes, ERP and table structuresReally strong relational database knowledge. Should be able to complete all validation on the backend of a DB. Someone who can hit the ground runningExperience participating in design sessions with multiple team membersEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform performance management, including running diagnostics, optimizing queries, other performance tuning, and ensuring proper backupsModify existing databases and database management systems or direct other programmers to make changesTest programs or databases, troubleshoot issues, correct errors and make necessary modificationsPlan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard data against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosureDevelop standards/best practices to guide the use and acquisition of software to protect vulnerable informationComplete assignments in a timely manner under broad, general direction with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and client-facing skillsEducation/Experience Requirements:5+ years of recent experience with MS SQL Developer (using on a daily basis)Strong MS SQL development (minimum 2008) experience with ability to design complex stored procedures and functionsExpertise and knowledge of best practices with MS SQL Server and SQL developmentStrong understanding of relational database designAbility to solve complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutionsExperience and understanding of software development lifecycle preferredExperience with SSRS a must (SSIS is not as important)Someone who can write pretty complex stored procedures, back end custom application workShould be able to understand store procedures, wireframes and table structuresReally strong relational database knowledge and someone who can hit the ground running
