Cath Lab RN position.Responsible for moderate sedation, charting, circulating, and working in pre and post areas.Job Requirements
Must have experience mixing medications and be comfortable with it.Teamwork and a strong willingness to help are essential.Experience with EPIC & Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, and Rotapro.Schedule Information
Work 2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts; sometimes 3x8s & 1x12hr shift.Shifts are from 0700-1530 & 0600-1630.On call 1-2 days per week; every third weekend on call (from Friday to Monday morning); every other holiday.20 minute call response required.Unit Specific Information
Number of suites/labs: 3 labs.Cases per day on average: 4 per day.Common diagnoses/Types of patients include Emergent Revascularization, LHC, RHC, ATK Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional, Cardioversion, TEE, Devices, Pericardiocentesis, Temporary Pacemaker.Call requirements: 1-2 days per week and every third weekend.Cath Lab Techs are Rad Techs.Charge Nurse/Team Lead responsibilities: run the day, assist with labs, and handle time cards.A manager or Charge Nurse is present on each shift.Float requirement: Heart and Vascular Pre/Post.Additional Details
ACLS, BLS certifications are necessary.Radiation Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start.2 days of unit/department specific orientation.Lead will be provided, bring your own lock for locker and hospital-designated shoes.Radius Rule: 50 milesRTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
