Location: South Bend, IN
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Retest Technician to join our team located in South Bend, IN. The Cylinder Retest Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance and retesting of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a Plant environment.
What you will be doing (2nd shift):Performs visual, physical tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are requiredVisual requalification of low-pressure cylindersPerforms cylinder conversions including de-valving, valving, stripping and repairing valvesOperates a ultrasonic cylinder testerMaintains certification requirements to certify the cylinders as being retestedOperates forkliftReceives incoming new cylinders, valves and cylinder maintenance suppliesRepairs cylinder neck leaks and safety leaksInspects and scraps defective cylindersPaints cylindersHousekeeping & light Plant maintenancePerforms visual requalification of low-pressure cylindersOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:What makes you great:
