Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic
Event Assistant
to support the planning and execution of events for our company. The ideal candidate will assist the Event Manager or Coordinator with logistical tasks, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and is executed flawlessly. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a passion for event planning.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including corporate events, conferences, trade shows, and social functions.Support on-site event operations, including set-up, registration, vendor coordination, and breakdown.Coordinate with vendors, caterers, decorators, AV teams, and other event service providers.Help with event marketing initiatives, such as sending invitations, managing RSVPs, and posting on social media.Maintain event documentation, including contracts, schedules, guest lists, and budgets.Troubleshoot any on-site issues to ensure smooth event flow.Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred).Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.Ability to work under pressure and solve problems on the spot.
