About the Role
This position will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of company's financial information. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will be highly involved in month-end close process, preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, assist in regulatory reporting and other ad-hoc accounting projects. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, collaboration and high level of service to support business needs, including working with internal stakeholders daily to resolve critical customer related needs. The successful candidate will exhibit team oriented approach and behavior.
What you can do for us:
•Preparation of complex monthly journal entries with precision
•Conduct month-end GL and balance sheet reconciliations
•Assist in drafting periodic financial statements and supplemental schedules
•Provide support in preparing annual corporate budget
•Assist in tax compliance activities and yearly audit
•Collaborate with operational managers to review financial performance
•Develop a systematic way of keeping accounting records updated, accurate and organized
•Use analysis to recommend improvements in the organization's accounting operation

Requirements
Qualifications:
•3+ years' experience in a similar role
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
•Strong understanding of GAAP and audit principles
•Must have wholesale or distribution industry experience.
•Demonstrate ability to work with and resolve customer issues independently and also together with customer service departments, sales teams and other departments as well
•Experience working with high volume daily transactions
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Power BI is a plus but not required
•QuickBooks and Sage X3 experience (plus).
•Experience in a fast paced, high growth environment a strong plus
•Must exhibit good communication and influencing skills to work across all levels of the organization, including the founders and senior leadership team
•Passionate, highly motivated individual who is a self-starter
•Impeccable personal and professional ethics and integrity

•Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Starting annual salary: $90,000-100,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
