Job Title:
QA Analyst - Foreign Exchange (FX)Location: Charlotte, NC (Locals preferred)Onsite from day one.Quality Assurance Analyst in the FX domain, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our foreign exchange trading software. You will develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the FX trading platform and ensuring a seamless experience for our users.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute detailed test plans for FX trading applications.Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and functionality.Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects.Analyze FX trading workflows and processes to identify potential areas for improvement.Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in problem-solving.Monitor the performance of applications and systems under different trading conditions.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Participate in design and product review sessions to provide input from a QA perspective.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to FX trading.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FX markets and testing methodologies.Document testing phases and defects effectively.Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with end-users when necessary.Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks.Provide feedback and suggestions for the continuous improvement of the QA process.Qualifications:Proven experience as a QA analyst in the financial services industry, preferably in FX.Strong understanding of FX trading principles and the financial markets.Familiarity with QA methodologies and software development life cycles.Experience with test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and SQL databases.Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, QTP).Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Desired Skills:Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.Prior experience with FX trading platforms like MetaTrader or any proprietary systems.
