The Middle School Language Arts Teacher's role involves guiding students in developing strong literacy skills, including reading comprehension, literature analysis, and writing proficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with middle school curriculum standards and educational objectivesUse diverse teaching strategies and resources to meet students' varying learning needsRegularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedbackMaintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progressCommunicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and staff regarding student performance, concerns, and achievementsCollaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and activitiesParticipate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practicesObtain or maintain teacher certification through ACSIFulfill other duties as assigned by the school administration
