The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT maintains a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal pelvic gynecological amp obstetrical and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts thyroid breast amp scrotum along with ultrasound-guided biopsies drainage thoracentesis paracentesis and aspirations.Facility Requirements:Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification this must be attached to the submissionRequired - Candidate must have 3 years recent General OB/GYN Abdomen amp Vascular Tech experiencePreferred if the candidate also has Echo tech experience the facility is also willing to trainMust have BLS certification must be attached to submission packet Must be through the American Heart Association RQI certifications will not be acceptedShifts will be Weekend days – 4 10-hour shifts – Friday Sat Sun Monday – 8 am to 6 pm “No Call” MUST USE TEMPLATE BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.Any submittals without will be rejected!Email TitleSUBJECT LINE: SUBMISSION - CANDIDATE NAME - FACILITY NAME - SPECIALTY - POSITION IDBODY of Submission:Years of Clinical Experience:Years of Travel Experience:EMR Experience:Certifications on file:Has your candidate ever worked at a Community Hospital facility either in a permanent or contract role?
