By joining us, you don't just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.Join us as aField Supt EI SLADEYour main responsibilitiesPRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:Field Supt. is responsible for the repair of all assigned units to conform to customer and Company requirements related to quality improvement, safety, cost improvement, and customer satisfaction in support of company objectives. He is also responsible for employee selection, training, and safety for all assigned projects.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develop and manage marketing literature, sales documents, and training material; drive commercial excellence in the field by providing sales & product training; drive commercial readiness and execution for new and existing products.Implement customer and Company requirements for quality, performance reliability, and passenger safety for each project under his/her supervision; monitor job completion checkpoints and implement any required corrective action to drive installation performance to Best Demonstrated Practice Model.Put together a repair schedule for a 2-month look ahead and manage our monthly targets; monthly forecasting at the beginning and middle of each month.Develop, track, and drive commercial KPIs - Estimates, Bookings, Backlog, Profitability, and Hit-rate.Perform safes, MQW, inspections, and be part of our quarterly safety meetings.Support sales staffing estimating service orders, scheduling, and executing orders, and investigating and resolving customer complaints; manage elevator Zip to ensure pricing is going out right away.What you bringEducation:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; or 5 years in-field experience.Functional/Technical Expertise:Minimum 3 years experience in either the elevator industry or in a related building systems industry.Ability to effectively manage and resolve sensitive employee relations issues.Solid problem-solving and proven negotiating skills; high sense of urgency; strong communication and interpersonal skills.English proficient and Spanish a plus.Excellent PC skills.What's in it for you?Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total compensation.Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans - Effective from the first day of hire.3 weeks' vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 8 Company Observed Holidays.Tuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.Parental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within the first year of a child's birth or adoption.A wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.We Elevate...
