Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an incredible opportunity to engage with a highly skilled team and play a pivotal role in managing and resolving complex technical claims. You will be responsible for managing, investigating, and resolving claims, as well as analyzing loss patterns and trends. This role will require a candidate with a strong background in claims handling, risk management, and investigation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle a wide array of technical claims, applying your knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering all necessary information and evidence to support your findings.
  3. Utilize your risk management skills to identify and evaluate potential risks, proposing suitable mitigation strategies.
  4. Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including claimants, insurers, and legal professionals to negotiate and settle claims.
  5. Analyze claims data to identify trends and patterns, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and reduce losses.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance in all activities.
  7. Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in technical claims handling, investigation, and risk management.
  2. A strong understanding of CD (Construction Defect) and its relevance to claims processing.
  3. Proven experience in managing and resolving complex technical claims.
  4. Exceptional investigative skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information effectively.
  5. A solid understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in claims data.
  8. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  9. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications would be a significant advantage.
