Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Software Implementation Project Manager to join our fast-growing technology team. This role is crucial to our success, as you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of software projects from inception to delivery. You will be at the forefront of our operations, working closely with various teams to ensure that our software solutions are effectively integrated and meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage software implementation projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  2. Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  3. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  5. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  6. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  7. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  8. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  9. Track project milestones and deliverables.
  10. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  11. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  12. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management, specifically in software implementation.
  3. Proven experience in device integration and data aggregation.
  4. Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  5. Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  6. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  7. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  8. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  9. Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  10. Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
  11. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  12. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  13. Strong interpersonal skills.
  14. Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
  15. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  16. Customer service skills an asset.
  17. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
