Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Postpartum RN to provide important physical and emotional care and recovery for both the new mom and the newborn baby following a delivery.
Contract Assignment
– 13 Weeks (Temporary)Shift:
3x12 Rotating

Requirements:
Motivated candidates who are looking for career growthAHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care ProvidersBSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensureExcellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families

Assess and monitor the new mother after delivery to ensure proper recovery and healing, physically and emotionallyClean and monitor the newborn babyCheck vital signs of mother and babyCheck Caesarian incisions if applicableRemove catheters after deliveryDispense medication as neededProvide education to new parents regarding how to care for an infantWork with lactation consultants to help the new mother breastfeedAll other responsibilities as needed
